stay healthy with this cleaning stuff

If you're using this for small counter top ice makers like I am then you're going to have this thing for a super long time haha. It works so well and cleans the unit perfectly. I would rinse out the inside after you run through the cleaning cycle then dump a little more ice but it really cleans everything out. The ice is tasting great and this mix is really easy to use. Pretty good price for this much cleaner since you honestly should clean your machine pretty often.

wish there were smaller version

upon receiving it, the color the cleaner had me worried because it's my first time using it.had to triple check to make sure the color is the correct color. turns blue after mixed with water.easy to use, 3 oz per gallon, and ran it thru the machine. While I do not notice any improvement for the machine, which I clean regularly already, I was able to use it to descale the old faucet with some scale on it.because I only do yearly maintenance, I wish there was smaller version at time I picked up this productIt's probably ok use it for the years to go but I prefer getting one when I need it.

Seems to work well.

I finally descaled my ice machine, and this solution seemed to work well. It has a smell to it, not a bad smell but a clean smell that, while not very strong, is easily detected. I even smelled it a bit after using it, but not in the ice, so that's good. I didn't taste anything but clean ice afterward, so no lingering taste, either. It's an easy enough product to use and follows a method similar to first getting the machine to get it completely rinsed out. The solution, once it mixes with water, is blue and will stay on your skin for a while. No irritation, but you will see it. This is not a bad product, and for the money (currently $51.99), I think it's a pretty great value considering you get a gallon of the stuff and only use 3oz per gallon of water.

Works on ice machines, but good for other areas of a wet bar too

This descaler is one of the most potent calcium deposit removers I've seen just in general, even without getting into the specific concerns of ice machines. It is concentrated, so it is supposed to be mixed with water for a cleaning. With water added, the red concentrate turns blue.Being curious to see how this would compare to the usual mainstream calcium/lime/rust remover chemicals that I've used for decades to clean my nickel-plated faucets, I mixed up a small amount of concentrate with water in a disposable cup. Starting with my wet bar sink with a decent amount of crusty calcium build-up, I merely dipped the tip of the faucet into this descaler solution for 5 SECONDS, and saw that everything was completely gone, leaving the faucet clean, with no scrubbing or anything! Compared to the other chemicals I'd normally use for this sort of thing, where I'd expect to leave the faucet parts soaking for 15-30 minutes, and then still require some scrubbing, I am quite sold on this being my go-to faucet descaler too.
